A striking example of 1960s Danish design, this vintage extending dining table combines sculptural simplicity with clever, practical design. The distinctive double-pedestal T-bar / trestle base is connected by a central stretcher, creating an unusually open design with plenty of space for chairs — and plenty of room for guests.
The oval top extends from 206cm to 252cm, with butterfly leaves folding out from the centre, comfortably seating up to 10 people when fully extended. The table has been fully restored, bringing out the warmth and rich grain of the timber while retaining its wonderful vintage character.
