Vintage Strafor Clapet Industrial Filing Cabinet | £3450
An extraordinary piece of industrial furniture, this imposing Strafor Clapet cabinet was manufactured by Forges de Strasbourg in France, originally designed for the storage and organisation of documents in offices and archives.
Featuring an impressive 40 individual compartments, each with its own metal drawer front, brass-toned handle and inset label holder, the cabinet has a wonderfully weathered finish that tells its own story. The industrial detailing and substantial steel construction give it real presence.
Dating from the early 20th century, it would make a striking statement in a contemporary interior, studio or commercial space, while offering an exceptional amount of storage.
